Don't sell yourself short

Have you ever been placed in an awkward and uncomfortable situation that forces you to "play along" to make others happy? In that very moment in your mind, you have decide to whether you will become the villain or the superhero. It comes down to taking a stand for yourself and take the scrutiny that comes along with it or be dragged along by others who only have their best interest at heart. Unfortunately, that our emotions can be manipulated by other individuals to gain self benefit because you  feel obliged to go along with the chaos and do not want the situation to become more frustrating or stress anyone else out. People who coerce others to obtain self benefit and ignore other innocent bystanders feelings or concerns can be very hard to watch and also if indirectly involved, can be mentally straining.

Ultimately, by being submissive to the peers around you especially if you do not share the same feelings or aspirations, can make you regret just going along with them. When everything is said and done, selfish people who really do not care about you, or your dreams are not going to give the slightest care if you become the next ambassador for your country or a kung fu master (both sound awesome by the way). So don't be afraid to stand up and walk outside of your comfort zone to speak your ideas. Regretting to speak out your feelings and ideas because of uncomfortability such as trying not to dissatisfy someone is not worth you having to come up short on what you've been wanting to accomplish by accommodating someone else. You will miss out on so many awesome opportunities if you do. Sometimes you have to look out for yourself and make yourself happy. Don't ever be afraid to say no. You won't have to worry about should've, would've, could've and miss out on getting to know awesome people or experiencing something new.
